    2019 TRDOR DCSB manual trans.

Currently 32k miles, bone stock, original tires and wheels.

Noticeable dirveline humming noise coming from the rear between 55 to 65mph, regardless of which gear and it comes on both acceleration and deceleration.

Is this some common problem, maybe TSB available?

Sounds like the rear diff issue, dealer should replace under warranty. Got mine done at 60k.

Seems very common. my buddies 2019 trd v6 auto did the same...got much worse after a 3'' lift. He started noticing it right from day1. Dealer told him all trd models have these vibrations, and some humming...some are worse. Just what they are. Idk if toyota has fixed the problem, as my buddy no longer has the truck.

Wow 32k miles and you're already having issues? Gen 3 problems or lack of changing the rear diff fluid?

Those issues seem mostly for trd trims. I doubt it has anything to do with fluid changes...my buddies did it on day 1. We've got 2 of the best dealers in the county, and both claim its pretty normal to the trd's. My sr5 doesn't do any of it. If your trd is quiet, your one of the lucky ones.

I dont think it trim level has anything to do with the vibrations. I have two 2018s TRDs lifted on 5100s, both are identical right down to the same wheels and tires. No vibrations at all prior to or after lift!

I bought it as a CPO at 21k miles 6 months ago with 7year/100k drivetrain warranty.

It had the same issue when I bought it but it wasn't bad. It got worse after I put on 10k miles.

I'm not a lead foot, and it's a stock truck.

The original Goodyear tires are about 5/32", I will replace them with some more aggressive tread tires. I want to get it looked at first so they won't blame on the tire noise.

I'm just wondering if there's a TSB for the similar issue already.

You should have rode in a buddies trd or after he did a 3'' lift with 33'' mud tires. Between the lumber wagon ride, and now the excessive vibration being worse, the truck could shake your fillings out.
I've got goodyear adventure A/T tires on my sr5, no vibration, or rear end noise of any sort, plus the tires are wearing much better than they did when on my 2001 tundra

The sticker on the bed causes the vibration/noise... since Tacoma's only have 2 different diffentials and 2 different ratios, for a grand total of 4 possible combinations of either, and only TRD models apparently have the problem, it makes total sense the sticker is the issue.

And since I have a TRD model and removed the bed side sticker, and I don’t have the differential issues, this proves it. Remove the box side sticker and solve the diff problemso_O

    Original tires?
Check the inboard and outboard tread depths. Uneven tread depth can get noisy.

I know this is a bit old of a thread but I have 6k ish miles on my truck and I’ve been hearing a weird low humming sound too in the rear. My spouse says it may be the rear diff. Is this a common thing happening with 3rd gens?
