I am at an impasse at this moment as the local drug enthusiasts (assumedly) just could not resist that sweet sweet catalytic convertor buffet under my Taco recently. Instead of just replacing everything with more OEM equipment I was considering doing some aFe high flow dump tubes and a dirty deeds set up for the rest. I was curious if anyone had any experience with something similar namely if there were any issues such as CELs from running the high flow cats or if the cats seemed to burn out as noted in some of the gen 2 threads? Any advice would be appreciated.

JIC anyone is looking and this thread comes up. I went ahead and did the URD MRK 2 exhaust with the secondary cat delete, afe high flow dump tubes and chopped the exhaust right above the axle. Of course through CELs at each step of the way but was able to get them cleared with some help of the guys at white cyclone in San Antonio. Got the Stryker tune as well. Really happy with the truck but would NOT recommend the AFE high flow cat dump tubes. The workmanship is terrible for 1300 tubes and they interfered with the steering shaft requiring some adjustment.
