Hello! Located in Los Angeles area--looking for a camper for our 2003 extra cab. Would love suggestions on makes/models and spots to check for used ones--have not had much luck on craigslist or FB marketplace. Ideally black, but willing to go with a different color for the right price.

Would also love suggestions on other modifications to make--bed will be primarily for dogs, hoping to eventually put rack on camper shell for rooftop tent.

    Thanks for any recs!

10 years ago when my truck had good paint...

I had an ARE which was a good fit, picked it up used for pretty cheap. The windows leaked a little when washing it but overall seemed of nice quality. Can't give any suggestions on where to buy one though. Definitely try and test what you find with a water hose.
