    As Dm93 said, that's probably the drain hose. You might want to pick up some HVAC cleaner/antimicrobial and use it. You turn on your recirc, spray it in the vents on top of the dash. Spray it in the other vents with the system off. Then, you let it run with the windows down to air out. That'll slow down or kill mold, bacteria, or anything similar that started growing in your plenum chamber or vents. Used to be able to get something called Ozium, but I don't think it's sold anymore.

    What happens if the recirc door is opposite to what is shown in the pics? When my button is on, door is closed. When off, door is open. How do I fix that?

    I would agree with that assessment, I mean, I do agree that it's because the defog vent always has some air passing through even when non defog vents are selected.
    Does anyone know if Toyota designed it this way? In other words, is it a flaw or a feature?
    It does get pretty annoying; living in the South, 8 out of 12 months my windshield has condensation on the outside of the windshield.
