Oostroma detailed the process, but I just wanted to add that the noodle goes below the vents to block road noise from under the truck. I used a piece of 3/4” pipe insulation. $2 from the hardware store and I didn’t have to guess which diameter noodle to get

Yup, the pipe wrap works just as well.
I ended up buying a larger noodle 1st and then discovered a smaller one at a different store that worked without having to slice it.

 

Not sure about the CoverCraft one, but I have this one from Amazon and it fits like a glove. And the reviews say the same.
