Yikes... maybe it's because I'm old, maybe BITD I wouldn't mind having to do this, but this just seems like something that would eliminate this wheel from my selection list....surprised you'd have to do this with a Toyota factory wheel.

Maybe it's the damn drums? 4Rs have disk in the back I'm sure

Yeah its because of the drums. It wasn't a big deal because the wheel need a very small chamfer and doesn't need to be precise. A pneumatic die grinder makes quick work of it. It took some calling around until I found a shop that was comfortable to do it for me.

I'd like to get a look at how you mount that bike... I see something holding the forks, looks like it sits atop the tailgate....

Its just a L piece of flat hollow stock with a round tube welded to the L The round tube goes into the bottom triple clamp hole. I have a nut sert in the tailgate and just bolt it in when I want to go riding

I joined the dark side on Monday. Limited wasn't my first choice but it was the only trim level that I could get all of the options I wanted. Having said that, the truck drives/rides amazing and looks great. However, lift, wheels and tires go on end of next week. Will also be removing the chrome as quickly as possible.

Put a deposit down on an incoming dealer allocation on 15 June and the truck arrived on 25 July.

I like the new design of the Limited grille sans the logo. Black finish would look great!

Looks like the lowly SR Grille, just finished differently. Plus I washed up my truck for the first time since someone rear ended me.... picture time20220731_170647.jpg

If you really like it my son probably has one taking up space next to the heater in the basement... he took it off when his truck was pretty new. I'll encourage him to let it go so it isnt taking up room in my basement

Spent some time figuring out how I'm going to handle my accident. I spent some time clay baring, hand buffing/polishing, to get an idea of what I can live with and what I cant.

I think it cleaned up pretty good by hand for now and I'm planning on having a paintless dent repair done to the tailgate and hoping that things straighten up..
    20220731_175014.jpg

Hopefully after things get straightened up I can get a bit more aggressive with the compound and get this cleaned up better.

    20220731_175142.jpg

Ill probably just live with the creases and missing paint on the bumper corner.. it isnt ideal, but it is a bumper and it won't rust. Tough to actually see the creases and missing paint in these pics.

I will be replacing the bumper Stamp. So once I get stuff pulled apart. I'll see if anything is broken.. hopefully I can JB Weld it back together if anything is broken..

One more ... all cleaned up.
