Hard shell canopy and kayak racks.
Joined to learn more about towing with our 2005 Tacoma Off-Road. An article I read linked me to the Tacoma Towing Bible on here and I found it super helpful. Figured I’d join the group and learn more. Our TRD is pretty much stock as we’ve only added a hard shell, kayak racks, 100,000 miles, some
stains, dents, dirt and a heavily cracked windshield that I need to get replaced.
Pic 1 - The day we got it in 2013 with 40k on the odo.
Pic 2 - Several years later on one of our many road-trips.
Pic 3 - May 2022 in Kellogg Idaho. The guys are getting the scooters ready.

Welcome to Tacoma World. You're going to like it here. Nice looking truck! My son has a 2005 SR5 AC LB 4-cyl/5-spd stick purchased about 4 years ago with 143,000 on the clock and a new frame courtesy of Toyota. It's over 235,000 now. Burns no oil. Before 175,000: Alternator, Clutch master and slave cylinder, alternator; in that order. After 225,000: (in order) Coolant by-pass pipe, front brake pads and rotors, Clutch job and rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, new oil pan and gasket which eliminated the last oil leak. That's it. Mostly stuff that just "wears out" but isn't necessarily a "failure". (except for the killer coolant by-pass pipe!) 5,000 mile oil changes. The truck has spent a lot of time in the winter mountains of New England. The new frame hasn't "re-rusted
