Re gear question I haven't seen asked

So, with 500 miles varying speed and RPM before a fluid flush...how are you breaking in the FRONT diff??

Surely not going down a paved highway at 60mph? Best advise for the fronts?

I’m driving down dirt roads in 4 high on mine. You can drive on hard ball in 4 high on a straight road just don’t turn.

 

The front diff spins regardless, just no load. It's actually actuating, so the spiders are actually always spinning. Use 4hi on straight lines on a gravel road.

You don't have to put exactly 500 miles on the front differential before you change the fluid. I would put it in 4wd a few times during the break-in and then change the fluid. Or you can change the fluid up front after several trips where 4wd was used quite a bit.

I was also curious so I emailed them.
