Finding Trails or Places to Explore - Michigan UP,

Early August I will be in Ontonagon county in Michigan UP. I would think there would be plenty of places to explore with the added off-road capability, but I'm having trouble finding resources.

michigan gov and DNR have interactive maps of ORV trails.

 

Good luck...I've noticed that most here are tight lipped on where to go. The whole midwest nice is a thing..."oh we're having a bbq on Saturday..." but no invite received.

 

The popular, established routes and trails are no secret. Google will give a bunch of results.
