Hey everyone, I have a 21 tacoma trd off road with a long bed. With 285/70r17 falken wildpeaks I was having rubbing. Minor melting of fender flares helped now now after off-roading it and more mile there’s more of a rub again. Aligned to close to 0. Is there a certain chamber caster spec to help? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

I'm pretty new to all this, don't even know how to link directly to my own post, but I had the same issues when upsizing tires. I noticed a little settling of the suspension after a couple hundred miles. Also, after reading thru hundreds of posts, it's evident that every truck is a bit different. What works for me and mine may not be your solution. Good luck.

with alignment after I installed icon stage 4: He got me to camber: 0/0 Caster: 3.73/3.69 toe: .02/.03. Rode much better on the ride back (15 miles city/highway) BUT....the traction control light is now on...gonna break out the paperclips and try to reset it. (Thanks to TW, ya'll saved me a trip to the dealer)

Took measurements after all this...center hub to fender. DF: 22". PF: 22.5 DR: 24. PR: 24.

I don't have any rubbing with these measurements and haven't done any cutting. Going to add some turns to the coilovers to correct the lean and test it on the road tomorrow. Have a trip planned Friday into the mountains so we'll see what's up.

Edit: Since then I have done a bunch of cutting in front but not because it was rubbing. I don't get any with my alignment at the numbers above.

Unfortunately there isn't just a one spec fits all when it comes to alignment settings. As a general rule of thumb lift height doesn't help with rubbing. Adding additional caster will typically help reduce rubbing if you are rubbing at the back of the fender by the cab mount. Too much caster and you will start to rub the front bumper and fender liner. I try to aim for 4 degrees caster, camber at 0 or as close as possible and .04 toe on each side. Depending upon which upper control arms you have you typically have to sacrifice some camber to gain additional caster.
