I looked into both apps and decided on AGAMA (paid version) that I've been using for a couple of months without any hickups, interuptions or overlays while playing songs.

What version of Android are you running? Does your HU have the 7862 processor?

Had the paid version too. I think I somehow changed a setting to cause the overlay and could never figure out how to remove it. What would happen is everytime a new song came on an infographic telling you about the song came up in the center of the screen, no matter what screen you were on. I want to say it was a built in feature of AGAMA. But again dumb dumb over here couldn't get it to stop

I remember seeing that option somewhere. Maybe in the Joying options??? Pretty sure if I went to try and find it again, I couldn't. lol

You are a candidate for Android 12. In reality the Android 12 win for me is the enhanced tethering. But I got the SIM so I wouldn’t have to connect the phone.

I did see (somewhere) there is an update. Just a little hesitant or maybe lazy about doing it. I am curious about what sim card/carrier you went with. I don't connect to my phone at all. The wifi signal you noticed on my unit was from the wifi at my house.

I did the 10 to 12 update because I read I would lose my apps on the upgrade. Since I haven’t started to load apps I decided to get it over and face the bricking.

    I use T-Mobile.

Kind of why I haven't, even though they're easy enough to reinstall. We have T-Mobile also and from what I've read it works well with Joying.

I was able to confirm a single camera hooked up to the secondary video input does work. Definitely gonna return the anytime 4 to 1 cam adapter and see what other options there are.

Also the resolution issue came back. Didn't install anything, just rebooted head unit and it did it. Maybe an issue with the default Joying launcher. My internet has been down all day and only working off 4G cell, but trying out the other car launchers to see if it fixes the issue

Calling the physical install done. Some of the SWC don't want to work. There is some flakiness but that's in the settings.

Added the F Camera button and removed a cigarette lighter port to make room for the added USB's.

Anyone have the 10” head unit specifically for our 2nd gens? Wondering how much space there is above the unit as I would like to still run my Expeditions Essentials rail system. Can anyone confirm or deny if it’ll fit? Pics for reference

After seeing some more posts, does anyone think any unit will fit with my mount?

doubt it will fit since the Joying comes with new bezel you'd have to modify. The screen itself can be repositioned higher or lower by unscrewing the mounting clips and repositioning them on the back of the screen.

Hmm...the Pyle switcher is at least sending a signal to the Headunit to display, but doesn't seem to be passing any signal from the camera through the switcher. I can unplug the camera from the switcher and plug it directly into the headunit and it works, just not when plugged into the switcher....

Does the switcher have a setting for what standards of signal it can accommodate?

No but I am wondering about that since the camera is Joying's AHD 1080p, and the Pyle only say, "system support powered by PAL and NTSC video resolution of 720x576 / 720/480"

I may have to try one of Pyle's cameras. I'll have to keep messing with it.
