Guess I’ll take advantage of the work from home option more often.

I'd like to take a brief second to apologize to the USPS and their sorry shipping practices that I've complained about the last 20 years. The past month or two they have turned it up a notch and gotten stuff on time or in a few cases a day earlier than expected. Keep up the good work USPS :hattip:

They’re the same ones who came up with the new bonus system. If you’re hourly, you can get up to a max of 4%, if you’re salary you can get up to 10%. I say make it a flat rate from the lowest paid employee to the CEO, if we get a bonus make it x%, everyone gets the same percentage. Salaried employees are paid more anyway, so if they’re making $100,000 a year they don’t need a $10,000 bonus. The employees making $30K need more of a bonus than them.

Sorry, been needing to let off some steam!

I agree, should be the same % for each employee.

Not my office. Fortunately it was vacated yesterday by someone that moved to a larger one.

    Perfect timing!

I got as far as the charging handle parts. Also wanted make my own custom knurled round knob vs the integrated one.

Did some prototype tests with my 3D printer.. it actually worked and I could rack it. Lol was surprised about that one. The knob is/can be whatever. That was just a quick rough size and shape. The charging handle post is keyed and locks into the carrier assembly. Thats the important, functioning portion. The rest will be set screwed together and will be for ergonomics and clearance.

    That is awesome :101010:

Several years ago a friend ask me to make him a hammer extension for his Thompson Center Encore. I made about 4 out of stainless, he put it on and went hunting. Had a nice buck come out and he dropped the hammer on him.......3 times. Gun wouldn't go off. The piece I made changed the weight and it wouldn't fire. Made him one out of aluminum, worked great.

He was mad at me, I said you should have tested it before going hunting :smack:

That's awesome though! Grandpa used to hunt with his Thompson Encore as well. I remember that thing growing up.

I still use mine, all I have is a muzzle loader barrel for it. I've looked at other barrels but they are so expensive and you have to have a scope for each barrel. Cheaper to buy another rifle :D

At least that's what I tell my wife :anonymous:
