I remember when it didn’t have the protective fencing on the sides... was fun to drive on. I mean, it’s still nice driving back that way but, I guess I have a hard time with change and development.

A few bits under the hood decided to self identify as hand grenades. Had garage lined up to do the job, i got a short block but they went under before they could get the truck in. Don't have enough garage, intellect, patience, or physical capability to do it myself. Would probably try, cuz lackng intellect, but bum knee & back from years of abuse and fractures won't let me really entertain that idea much.

 

Well crap... that sucks. I don't like to see another Taco owner bite the dust. If you weren't a mile or two so far north maybe we could all pitch in, but DAMN these gas prices.

How many miles on it?

 

Just an oil change or 2 shy of 200k before i killed her but don't recall exactly. She's been parked a little while - first replaced with a 2010 silverado (), traded that for 13 OR DCSB toy over the winter.

(I know this thread is for posting pics but I’m curious and didn’t wanna make a whole thread for it.) Anybody ever gone out to Rock Creek Road near Yosemite? Thinking about taking a trip down there to check it out.

 

Skyline drive between Manti and Mayfield Utah. Highest point on Skyline Drive. Just about treeline...

First post! We got a great spot on the North Fork of the John Day River in Oregon.

Great shots! What shell is that? Thinking of getting a mid-rise shell now that I have a sleeping platform. Not a ton of headroom under the softopper
