Any good alignment places? I went to Clarence Brown and the tech showed me I had loose inner tie rods and it could not be aligned. He said he hates uniball UCAs and that I should replace them cuz they might not allow correct alignment. I replaced LCA bushings, steering rack with OEM, inner and outer tie rods with OEM. I Have Solo Motorsports lift spindles with DR coil overs. I went to another shop with good reviews closer to home, and they got me close but I'm still cambered out a degree and some. Tech there said I might need tie rod extensions because mine were bottomed out? Also he said I should look at getting different UCAs too? I really don't want to drop more money if I don't have too. I'm thinking of going to the truck shop as I guess they would have more experience with lifted trucks? I don't know the brand of UCAs but they are uniball design, and they were on the truck when I bought it in 2017. Never had issues before with alignments.

I go to the truck shop for virtually anything I need on the truck. They are technically a toyota/lexus/scion repair shop, but i think they primarily get business from san diego offroaders. They have their own built trucks out front, and constantly have offroad rigs in the shop so they definitely know what they're doing. I have the delta joint Icon UCAs and they never had an issue getting it aligned for me.

it sounds like you have a tech that doesn’t know anything but oe specs and how to read a manual. you can easily trim your inner tie rods if you are bottoming out the outers before you hit the # you need

Trueline has been around a long time. They did my truck about 15 yrs ago when I did a 2.5” lift. Their pricing was high for the time, I thought, but they did a good job. I then got a lifetime alignment from Express Tire for $80 or so. That was working out well until they folded and Firestone acquired them about four years ago. I may get another lifetime with Firestone. Price is up to $200 when on sale. I got it for our 18 Lexus RX. I asked the tech about aligning lifted trucks; he said it should not be a problem and they (Santee Firestone) have several lifted Toyotas in their program. You can get an alignment as often as every six months.

I like them, as they retain factory geometry and are super beefy, and I don't have to crank my coilvers for lift. Never had issues before

Someone feel free to chime in, but I was under the impression Raptor Liner was a Less costly DIY kit?!? May have to approach an actual paint and body shop with that proposal! As for Line-X I’ve used El Cajon and San Diego and they definitely do entire vehicles. Although the lifetime warranty is for the truck bed only and doesn’t apply to rest of the vehicle. I believe my roof was only a 3 year warranty.

There is a Dodge Ram pickup in my neighborhood that has gray matte paint job. I dont know if that is liner or not. I cant tell which resident owns it to ask the truck owner. I’ll keep trying.

To be honest, I didn’t even try it! I’d already gotten a beer on tap so I’ll have to next time. Guy at the Pizza shop seen my truck parked out front and brought it to my attention that they looked similar!

don’t know of any shops but it’s a pretty DIY friendly job, even if you haven’t sprayed paint before. This was my first try, I love it

@Nicklovin willing to paint mine?! Is the matte finish in the paint you buy, or how you set the sprayer?
