    Join us for the 6th annual Roof Top Tent Rally (#RTTR2022), Oct. 21-23 in Gladstone, Virginia at James River State Park. Hang out with other overlanders, and outdoor lovers. Enjoy a family-friendly, relaxing weekend of camping with good people, good music, learning, and fun.

    Brought to you by the James River State Park and Blue Ridge Overland Gear.

    Highlights of this year's event will include:

    - Kids activities.
    - Live music.
    - Food Trucks and local Brewery on-site.
    - Survival Skills Competition.
    - Ham Radio License Exam.
    - Overlanding and outdoor gear vendors.
    - Giveaways and door prizes.
    - Adventure Travel Workshops.
    - 8 miles of James River and three ponds for kayaking, and fishing.
    - 20 miles of biking/hiking trails.
    - And more...

    WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
    Take time to explore the James River State Park: go mountain biking or hiking on 20 miles of trails. Enjoy access to the James River and the beauty of the rolling meadows and spectacular views.

    DOGS (IMPORTANT!): Dogs are welcome but they must be leashed at all times. Leashes must be 6 feet or shorter. Failure to keep your dog leashed and under control could result in you being asked to leave the event.

    TENTS & TRAILERS:
    Ground tents and off-road trailers (under 20ft.) are welcome. RVs and freestanding campers are not permitted at this event.

    FIRES & FIREWOOD:
    Above ground firepit, w/fire pan that prevents ground scorching is required. DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD: NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS ALLOWED. Firewood will be for sale in the park - made available by Friends of James River State Park (a non-profit charity).

    ICE:
    Ice will be for sale by Friends of James River State Park (a non-profit charity).

    VEHICLE LEVELING:
    It is recommended to bring vehicular leveling blocks.

    Event hosted by Blue Ridge Overland Gear and the James River State Park.

    EARLY CAMPING:

    Early camping will be available on Thursday, October 20, for an additional $30. When buying your ticket please select the ticket that includes early camping.
