I'm installing a Pace Edwards tailgate lock and I'm up to the point to tie in to the wiring in the kick panel area. I'm searching for the blue/black and blue/red wires. Any help to find these buggers will be much appreciated. I have a 2012 DCSB.

I've read that they can either be in the same bundle OR different bundles as well as tapping into them by the fuse box and that they are in the same connector.

Any pics or anything will be helpful. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack....

I did mine about a year ago. Great mod. Haven’t had any issues. You might want to add a pull cord to the tailgate bar just incase the lock fails. I ran mine down to the weep hole on the bottom of tailgate. Ican grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers

I added the paracord pull in the event of a failure. It's always good to have a backup.

The only thing I don't care for is it unlocking/locking in concert with the driver's door. I would have preferred it to lock/unlock with the passenger doors. Maybe I'll get used to it this way or if not, I'll look to make it work with the passenger doors.
