Check engine light came on on the way home from work. Got home and pulled codes P0174 and P0171. A little research showed that the MAF sensor might be a likely culprit, plus it was do for a cleaning anyway. Cleaned it and went for a test drive. Check engine light came on again before the end of the block. Got out some brake cleaner to start checking for vacuum leaks. Once the hood was up and engine running, the leak was pretty easy to see and find.

The return from my oil catch can. The kit didn't come with any hose clamps and I didn't add any when I installed it. Added one. Took it for a test drive and all is good. Wish all check engine lights were thus easy to fix.

OK. New bumpers! Still have to install the fog lights and re-attach the GMRS antenna once the new mount comes in, but she's finished enough to post.

Ordered some Sylvania XtraVision headlight bulbs for the truck. Should be here tomorrow.
I'm content with the stock headlights so this should be a decent upgrade. Plus, whenever I get the funds to install a winch bumper, I'll also be installing a light bar so night driving on trails won't be an issue.

Upon further inspection, I believe you're right. The tail lights just say "Ford" to me.

Martin off-road racks are basically the same thing but cheaper so give those a look. I liked it though, super functional.

I've been working on adapting https://gfxgauge.com/ (which I started working on a few years ago for my STI) for use in my Tacoma. Here’s where it’s at as of today:

    D6BDDB67-D119-42E7-8E02-6788499828B5.jpg

The standard OBD-II PIDs work, but I’ve been unsuccessful in getting the ECU to return transmission temp values using any of the custom PID codes I’ve found so far. I’ve read that some people have issues getting it to work on other devices (ScanGauge etc.) so I’m not sure if the problem is with my truck or gfxgauge, but I’m going to keep trying!
