That’s bridgework and is part of what’s been going on for some time now. They widened every bridge for the upcoming addition of a much needed 3rd lane being added in both directions of 81. They will be starting mm 161 to 169 in 2025 and is supposed to take 5 years to complete. What they need to do is repeal the “Move over” law. Every time that a cop pulls someone over, traffic is reduced to one lane and there are accidents because people just can’t seem to figure out how to merge. The congestion is gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

 

Have you seen the NE extension of the turnpike lately? Somebody on the Turnpike Commission must have a brother-in-law that owns a traffic cone rental company. No work going on, just cones everywhere.

 

Somewhere, someplace, two people have a bet going on that they can get these manly men to repeatedly say chartreuse and not sound like women.

 

They are crunchy…. I’d change up the seasoning next time.

I avoid 81 at all cost. Last time I was up that way was for a court recording in 2019. Road was still fucked up...
