Hey everyone! My name is Caleb. I’m new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. My neighbor Rich Norman (Matic as he was known by on here) sold his beloved 2002 PreRunner to me shortly before his passing. For those of you that knew him know he was about to start the 4x4 conversion when he had his Stroke. I promised him I would finish it and do right by him if he ever wanted it back. Now I’m going to finish building it and enjoying it in his memory. I’m happy to say I’m almost done with the swap. I have just a few things left to source for it before it’s ready for the road. All that it lacks are driveshafts and a new 4x4 shifter assembly/bezel. I’m having a hard time sourcing both but more so the correct driveshafts. The front can be any 2.7 4x4 auto (single cab or ext cab) and the rear has to be from an extended cab 2.7 4x4 auto (which seems to be a needle in a haystack to find) if anyone has or knows of someone I can source these from please let me know. I will try to post some pictures as to the progress that’s been made so far.
