First, thanks to AJ and Zak on recent info. Took a step back and want know who has gone from a stock 16 to 17
I have a 2020 SR, stock with 245/65/16 with sock wheels
Was looking to move to new wheels 16 inch and moving to 265/75/16

now thinking to move to 17 and 265/70/17

my concern as it was with the first attempt was rubbing not so much on the tire but the wheel on the caliper
So I moved to a -12 OS. Keeping in mind now I’ll be past the fender
Not a bad look but I want to stay closes

Want to know who out there…
Moved from from stock 16 to 17, all else stayed stock, no lift , no level
And what tire size you added

did it clear? Wheel and tire
    Amy issues?

and finally can you recommend a 17 with 0 OS to help me keep inside

knowing that if I move to a 17x8 or 7x9 I’m still gaining about an inch outwards in the new tire
    245 at 9.6 and 265 at 10.4

    thanks

    Sorry for the confusion
    Wheels only
Just looking for either a 16
or 17 that will clear without having to get a negative offset
Want to try and stay in the well if I can even if I upgrade the tires a size

there has to be a few of each size out there and just looking for recommendations

I would actually like to stay at 16, beef up the tire to get a larger sidewall but many say move to 17
    Any help would be appreciated

Bilstein 6112's 5th clip 1/4" spacer driver's side. Icon tubular UCA's with Delta joint, wheelers superbumps, ECGS bushing. Allpro standard leaf packs, 5160's, U bolt flip kit with wheelers super bump's, extended stainless steel brake lines, carrier bearing drop. Icon rebounds 17" with Nitto terra grappler G2's 285/70/17's.
I bought the Icon rebounds. 17/8.5, 0 offset. Made specifically for the tacoma. I really like them.IMG_20220523_201818405.jpg

    I went with the Blackhorn Offroad BH01's, 17x 9 with a +12mm offset, and 265/70/17's.
