I'm getting a new DCSB in (hopefully) a few weeks, and I'd like to put a soft topper on it. And I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be possible to mount my existing ski rack and 4-banger River Quiver fly rod rack somehow.

The ski rack could probably just be mounted on a roof rack on top of the cab, but the fly rod rack is 10' long and needs to be accessible from the back of the truck. My initial idea was to get a bed rack that fits over a soft topper, but I'm having a hard time finding a bed rack with smaller/thinner rails that will fit regular stuff like these racks I have - they mostly seem to be made with heavy duty thick bars to support rooftop tents. I've done a lot of searching on the forums and can't find anyone with this specific configuration.

Does anyone know of a good solution here? I know I could just get a hard shell, but I really like the versatility of a soft topper - even if the bed rack prevents the soft topper from being folded down, I like the ability to roll up the sides and back when it's nice out (which is 95% of the time here in Colorado) and let my dogs have some fresh air back there.

Maybe I can't have it all, but I'm sure as hell gonna try.
