    Asside from the obvious specs (lift height(s), number of leaves, optional configurations with the RXT, etc.), where would one of these springs be a better choice over the other?

    Where I'm coming from.. I have a 2nd Gen Access Cab that I intend to keep as light as possible in it's base configuration. No roof racks, heavy armor, etc. I intend to keep the truck fitted with a relatively light wheel/tire combo and keep the "simple and clean" theme alive with the truck.

    I would however like to optimize the suspension around that principle, and while my 6112/5160 w/ the 3leaf AAL + LR UCA combo has been a wonderful "Stage 1" setup for me, I'm interested to see where a potential "Stage 2" could go. This would entail going with FOX 2.5 coilovers/shocks for improved dampening and tuning ability along with a rear leaf spring pack and Archive's Hammer Hangers and associated bits and pieces to complete the package.

    The truck sees predominately street driving as it is my DD, but is also my get out and explore rig (not expo style) but just casual typical wheeling and bombing down dirt roads across the Southwest. I occasionally may have a dirt bike in the bed or pull two jetskis or my small utility trailer, but never any constant weight. It's just your general purpose 4x4 that wants to maximize the potential of the existing suspension design. Not really a rock crawler, not really a pre-runner, and not quite a mall-crawler either..

    What spring should I be aiming for and why?

    Thank you for that reply! I am going to get the truck on the scales today to have some of the info you needed.

    For rear leaf packs it really comes down to added weight and potential added weight. The J66 is a great leaf pack if you are only looking for a 1" lift and have about 200lb of added weight. This pack does not have an overload pack, so really not designed to hold a lot of weight or tow with, but it's a great pack for low lift height and smooth ride. If you don't fit into that category than a U402 pack may be your next best option. RXT is really only recommended if you plan to add a lot of weight, and potentially add even more down the road and want the ability to have 3 stages to work with. Keep in mind, we will be tuning shocks to ride the best with your vehicles added weight and which spring is being used. RXT and U402 will get you more of a 2" lift.

    @AccuTune Offroad - I saw you have a 2" lift version of the J66 on your site (Deaver N98), I didn't see them on Deavers site though. What's the story behind these? Are they J66 with additional arch, thicker springs, or something else?

    Almost identical to the J66 pack just offers 2" of lift.

    @AccuTune Offroad

    (Deaver N98 vs Deaver stage 1 U402)

    My truck is empty most of the time aside from the Bakflip X4S tonneau. Other weight additions include a 24F agm battery, JL stealthbox, and a couple of kicker key amps. I tow a small trailer maybe once or twice a year and would like to add sliders soon. I have no plans for front/rear bumpers for the time being. Assuming I went with fox 2.5 elites, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3's on 17x8.5 -12 RR7-H wheels, which leaf pack would you recommend?

    Didn't mean to hi jack. I posted late last night and thought this was a thread for leaf spring recommendations. Didn't realize it was a separate conversation at the time.
