My factor cover (new 2022) sticks up over the last flap. There’s play in it and I can lift it up slightly when closed and locked. Is this normal? I couldn’t see any adjustments.

Push down hard, right ahead of that rectangular plastic piece (right above the latch and pin) until you hear it click. If that doesn't work, you may need to adjust the latch.

I had to adjust with washers used to shim the latch to reduce the play. Might need some with different thickness.

What exactly did you shim? I can’t seem to make out what can be adjusted.

I put the washers between the latch mechanism and the cover. Basically lowering the latch closer to the catch pin. My latch has two clicking positions. Hope this helps.

I had that problem when one of the adjustable tie down cleats was interfering (too close to the latch) underneath.

The cover shouldn't stick up like that if latched. Mine latch's perfectly water tight with ease...been that way pretty much from day one. Whoever installed it done good.

^^^Same here. I moved the tie down cleats to a different position and it closed fine.

Mine does the same thing if I don't push down hard until it clicks the second time. I may need to shim a little as well based on what others have posted - will give that a try
