Yeah, so I got buyers remorse the night before the partybox was delivered. I returned it to Best Buy the next day and bought a party box 100 off of marrketplace for $170. it seems new, got the box and it works perfectly. Now to mount it,

I actually noticed that..shows how few people read for detail haha..

I mean if you really wanted to you could buy small truck boxes that you could pull out of the truck and place in the bed but that would have a few things to work around. My buddy did that with his short party bus though.

That’s what I want. Any suggestions on where to find them? Or what should I search for? Truck audio box?

    I’d go with
    - a 4 channel amp wired to headunit.
    - 4 6x9 speakers in speaker boxes like @ABA180 posted.
    - brackets to mount speaker boxes to bed rail.(Home Depot is your friend here.)

Wire the amp with a quick disconnect RCA plug on each speaker wire. Corresponding plug on the other end to the speaker. The reason for this is you can leave everything attached to the amp, just plugging in speakers when needed. Run the signal wire out the rear window and connect to the 6x9s.

I am very happy that Florida passed legislation to stop the noise. Some of us prefer the sound of nature be it the surf, the wind in the trees or other non-man made and yes we do it in groups. Hiking, biking, kayaking, chillaxing on the beach all are examples where ear buds are great. If you want house party noise keep it in your house or go to a club.
Please understand that I love concerts and clubs that are so loud I can feel the music.
I just think booming vehicles suck, that there are too many of them and y’all ought to consider your neighbors as regards volume when you are out recreating.
    You do you and enjoy.

don't run high power through rca's. they aren't really rated for it.

the best speaker connectors are going to be at guitar center, or similar--designed for concert venues that are constantly setting up and taking down.

neutrik is one of the big players, go with the speakon 2pole series

You know what they say about assumptions, lol. I do appreciate the sarcasm (that was funny) and take no offense.

That said, I think you are equating the noise of a moving vehicle vs. stationary vehicle producing sound / music for a length of time. If I sat in my driveway doing repeated burnouts then some might feel annoyed and wish I’d move to the track. If I pass by your home during daylight hours then you might notice a brief rumble but unless you are a rider you probably would take no notice.
I never listen to radio because they don’t always play what I want to hear. Thus I choose my playlist. Same analogy to loud tunes when recreating. Not everyone will want to hear my playlist or someone else’s. Just sharing a thought, I don’t make the rules. We just need to be situationally aware to maintain a polite society.
In my world everybody gets to be who they want to be. It’s all about respect.

well, I don’t get to make the rules or enforce them. Not my job. I run with scissors and color outside the lines regularly.
Just sharing my perspective. Didn’t mean to sidetrack your thread. Hopefully y’all enjoy your finished project out on the dunes.
I went there several times from AZ to CA. Definitely a party spot.

About that much. We are in trouble if there’s ever a fire in the basement. I mean, whose not. I love that movie. They are making a Furiosa prequel.
