    It also happens to the tailgate exterior skin, it separates from the inner bracing (or was never glued). Might take a look at that area too. Just remove the inside tailgate plastic cover.

    whenever i wash my truck my hood flexes a ton in the center. I need to add some NVH .

    Currently trying to pick my next Toyota!
    I just did the 3M NVH 4274 application. It's a black urethane. More solid than the factory applied foam. It does not expand at all. I was caught off guard when first started to apply it but went for it anyways because 3M makes it just for this use.

    Good vids on application. Good tip to check that product is coming out evenly from both tubes before applying, incase one is dried out or seized up.

    I've had this problem on previous cars and adding hood struts helped eliminate the issue. I have struts on my truck and do not have this issue, if that helps.

    Why take the time to spot-weld when you can glue it faster and cheaper. Reliability costs money dammit!:bananadead:
