Quicksand SR SX, quite possibly the best iteration of the 3rd gen Tacoma that's been produced.

A friend had a Chev, you could scroll through the display on the dash and it gave idle hours and total hours too IIRC.
Neat feature -- that most folks would never use of course.

Hour meters should be a part of all engines produced. It would be handy info when buying a used vehicle. Postal rigs, semi's, etc clock up a pile of hours whereas my truck runs a little over 300 hrs per oil change (10,000 mile)..trivial but informative.

After a handful of TSBs that needed addressing in the first year, my truck has been problem free. I am not complaining about having to deal with TSBs, because I did buy the first year model of the 3rd Gens (so I was expecting there would a few things to deal with). I plan on keeping my 2016 unless the 4th Gens are too enticing to pass up.

Facts. My work truck (F150) has as many idle hours as driving hours. And I have close to 80000 miles on it.

Cannot do that. Probably will refinance it several more times before I die.

Hey OP, I and someone else staying at this hotel in Helena MT agree with your color choice. So do the people who painted the building...both.jpg

I'm super curious about your hours noted. Installed a Hobbs meter?

I have always found it a bit strange that Toyota did not put an hour meter in their trucks. My friends with Dodges and Chevys have the meter.
