    Hello TacomaWorld!

I have a question for the community. I have a 2022 OR 5’ bed with an ARE campershell and looking to purchase a Bedslide 1000. My question is if I were to install a Thule Bike Mount, would I have enough clearance for my mountain bike to fit? From what I understand is that the Bedslide has a 4.5” profile (does mean height from bed of truck to top of the Bedslide floor?).

Curious if anyone has experience with this…

    Thanks!
    Jose

Depends a lot on the shell and the bike in question. Yank the front wheel off and stick it in with the forks resting on the bed, put up the measuring tape plumb, and post the picture here. That’ll help people try to give advice.

Just did that… looks like we have a ‘no go’ on the Bedslide. Thanks Malvolio!

You can always do the Malvolio ghetto plywood halfsie bedslideTM. It has a wood rail on the underside to guide it straight back and forth in the bed grooves. :sawzall::cookiemonster:
