The antenna I use is VERY flexible, I don't believe you would have a problem with your garage door. I run the Diamond antennas on the highway, they have better reception for distant repeaters.

My truck has never seen the inside of a garage. It gets no love there.

I got the plastic blue one from Advance Auto. It was nice for a few weeks but then the middle casters broke. Trash.

Got rid of my broken stock CD player and made up this wooden push button switch plate instead. Ended up coming out really clean. IMG_0600.jpgIMG_0603.HEIC.jpg

Compression test results are in. Motor is at 293k so I think these are pretty good numbers.

I got the plastic one from harbor freight. I'm not easy on it and it's been around for 4 or 5 years. You've got to make sure the caster nuts are tight, otherwise the plastic will fatigue.

I think that was the one I had, casters would not change direction for shit and would just make me angry. Thankfully I'm young enough still where I just lay on the concrete still.

Picked one of those up when I picked up the transmission jack. Figured I might need it when I'm under there pulling the trans. Now I think I'll just be on the concrete. I'll check those caster nuts.

Mine works great, even on the rough driveway. I used a buddies, the casters weren't tight and it wouldn't pivot. It's just so much easier and faster using one.
