I know there’s a bunch of threads that talk about OME suspensions but I couldn’t really find anything that could help me solve my problem or that I can relate to. I just got my OME suspension and leaf pack installed with 881 coils. But the front is a lot lower than I expected and a lot lower comparing to other 881 setups. I know it varies each lift but I feel like mine is really different.

    Front: 36 1/2

    Rear: 39 1/4

Almost a 3” difference so not sure if I should throw spacers on or try 882s although I don’t plan on adding a ton of weight on the front. I don’t want complete level I want a little bit of rake but nothing crazy.

The leaves will settle over time somewhat. I suggest driving it as is and seeing how it feels before you consider changing parts. I have 881s but with 5100s set to the lowest setting. I think it rides just fine. My front height is similar to yours but I can't be sure.

OP states having read about OME kits.

    Installs kit; back too high.

@jemmons as mentioned above, your leaf pack will easily drop an inch or so. It just takes time...maybe a thousand miles or two. After it's settled, then and only then would I recommend pulling a leaf if you so insist.

I think it looks right for what he has up front, especially since he's probably 4x4 and I'm sadly not. OP, I would suggest 882 coils only after driving it for a while if you really still aren't happy with the height. Avoid large spacers on good parts. Anything over 1/2" for taco lean is best dealt with a different way. Just my opinion.

Yeah I had a spacer lift on prior and it messed up some things so I’d like to avoid spacers but I also see 882 setups that may not give me the rake I want and it might be too stiff if I’m not adding on weight. But at this point if it gives me the height I want I guess that’s probably the best route. And I’ve driven my truck at least 1000 miles and taken it on a rough trail so it should be close to broken in.

Does anybody have 882 setups with ride height measurements? I know there’s a thread on 882 setups but I’d like to know ground to fender measurements

Ground to fender will vary greatly even on trucks with the same exact setup; you can have measurement A change to new measurement B just a year later based on tire wear.

That's why measurements are taken from the center of the wheel to the fender.

I wouldn’t wanna go much over 881’s without any armour (bumpers, winch, skid plates, sliders). To be honest, I absolutely hate my OME setup.. 883’s & dakars with add a leaf.. I’m gonna be opting for the all pro expedition pack and swapping out the nitro charger shocks here soon once the bank account recovers..
