@spithead051 is going to list his truck soon. 2009 TRD supercharged, original owner, 72k miles, scoop hood, Access Cab, garaged for whole life. Plus he has 5x TRD beadlock wheels, ICON lift, in great condition. I think hes going to ask $25k

thats what i thought as well but i got tired of poor mpg and after spending a good chunk of change rebuilding the front end i just called it quits... i wanted something a bit more modern and comfy and that could tow better plus something not overbuilt for what i want to do anymore... doing any actual truck stuff or taking the bike places sucked with the tacoma so the ranger has been great

I got permission from the wife to do a moto camping trip in a few weeks. Some of my fav times, if you’ve never done it- do it. Just need to decide on food situation. Do I need a jet boil?

Jetboil is great! I use it when I camp in my truck

I just bought one of these. Its so small! Im going to get a small pan as well. Im pretty good at underpacking.

Instead of a big canister jetboil, Id do a msr pocketrocket or equivalent stove, and a trango bot or snowpeak pot/pan system. The sea to summit X series is quite good and packs small as well.

Yea I looked at those, very small which I like. Kinda thought I’d want coffeeinthe morning too… cant you take the canister off and just place a pan on top? I would love to do steak at night, eggs in morning

Ohh french press good idea. Can you remove the entire top part of a fast boil system and place a pan on it? Or does it only boil water because it doesn’t have the arms to place anything on

I dont have the jetboil branded stove to place a pan on. Only boiling water for mountain house or french press for coffee

I have this, but an older model. I dont use the jetboil fuel canisters, because Im in my truck. I use coleman, but they dont fit inside.

Love it. Have you motocamped before? Been 2 yr for me. I’m psyched. Deciding what knife and light to bring. Not that it matters, I nerd out on putting gear to use

I haven't. Not new to camping though.. got a perfectly good GFC that I barely use..

I need a little more gear, like a tent and a dry duffel before I can go for a shakedown run to see what else is needed, but hopefully I have most of it already

I have a knockoff pocket rocket, a 1l pot, and a folding skillet that I cook with when I've moto camped. Cannister fits inside the pot, pocket rocket is tiny, works well.

And no, I'm not buying your kriega gear @fatfurious2 , I just bought all the adventure spec gear (which works great, btw)

@w.adventures , shoe box on one side, starbucks party coffee box on the other, who needs bags or a rotopax
