1971 Impala in '91. A bit more worn than that though. Paid my grandparents $150 OTD.

'69 Karman Ghia. Mine (this color) had Porsche mags, Michelins, dual extractors, walnut steering wheel, and is the only vehicle I regret selling. It was actually a hot little sports car.3336D7EA-E01E-4DB8-B5D3-FEBCB91C854D.jpg

90's Plymouth Voyager :anonymous:. I was 16, my brother sold it to me at full blue book price. Trans blew a month later, that was partially my fault. That v6 was quick, and I had a few ladies that didn't mind getting down in a mini van.

1976 Cherokee Chief in 2004. 256 straight six with a single barrel carburetor. Had to pour a little gas down the carb to get it to start. Seats were only bolted down 2 of 4 spots. Never got it past 55mph. Still regret selling it.

Paid $700. Ended up selling it for $1500. Saw it about 7 years later in a body shops yard but they wouldn’t sell it to me. Havent seen it since.

Heart breaking looking at their prices now.

Not mine in the pic but same color.

1971 mustang with a 351 Cleveland bored to a 402. It was owned by a gearhead/race car driver. Lost it in the divorce, I bought it for 1500 in 1986/87. It was smurf blue with a white vinyl top. Had upgraded brakes and power train. It was a beast that I called smurfette. 1971 Mustang Grande CN6003 - 3 004.jpg

Well shit, better give the specs. 400sb with burnt valve, rotted interior and "slight" electrical problems. First important mod was a stereo system. Next was seat covers and a beverage containment system.:)

Mine was totaled by my dad, locked the rear brakes and get her sideways. Some old man in a 60s Cadillac t-boned and bent the frame and some electrical issues. My mom sold the car for like 300$.I was pissed beyond belief. The engine alone was worth 3k:annoyed::annoyed:

I got stuck in the middle of a "creek" crossing in a B2. Spring runoff and it was pretty scary due to the drop-off 50' down stream.

It’s also the first and last vehicle I ever ran out of gas.
I’m old enough to have NOT had the luxury of owning a cell phone.
Walking SUCKS. And having long hair and looking like a stoner didn’t help with hitch hiking.
I had to walk the whole way to the gas station and back. The worst part was probably the over priced fuel can I had to buy. Then carry it back. Thankfully the station had 2 gallon cans for sale.

First road car was a 1971 Pontiac Ventura. 250 six with a powerglide, purchased from my father.
Pic is from 1975 in Algonquin Park (still have the Colman stove). A lot of great memories and road trips in that car. Have more pics but none digital.
