Hello all. Asked one of the socal dealers for a price for a 20222 Off Road, and would like opinions on price.

-2022 Trd Off Road long bed 4x4 double cab
-Trd Pro lift and Pro tires/wheels plus grill, skid plate
Premium package with leather seats/sunroof/JBL sound sys
-leds all weather mats mud guards

The place wanted 57,803 out the door. I think it's a bit much, and if so, what should be the otd price for such an equipped Tacoma?

The sticker price for my 2022 TRD OR DCLB with everything you had minus the lift, tires, and mud flaps was way less.

I'm 1.5 hours away and the sticker isn't on the website. I did ask for it bit am still waiting.

If you are shocked at 57k, The sales person sent me this to lessen the blow to my gonads and make me feel like this is a deal lol:

.."The total price including taxes and licensing is $63,165.07. We're asking $59,803 since it is fully loaded but my manager said he is willing to selling it for $57,803"

    Wildly expensive.

    Truck 46000?
    Lift 2500 (I paid 2400)
    Wheels 800 (I paid 660)
Tires let's just say 1k, dunno what you want exactly
    Skid 300-500

It’s 20k more than I paid for my loaded 2021 OR. The Pro lift and inflation isn’t worth 20k.

Yeah, I figured the price was up there. The truck does look killer, but I'm not into the leather seats, JBL or moonroof of the premium package.

If you don't buy it someone else will but don't be the reason dealers are continuing to fuck everyone that walks in the door

Are you in CA? I paid 46k for my pro. Probably goes without saying, but the TRD lift isn’t the same as the (still overpriced) pro suspension. Unless you have money to blow, consider holding off.

Yikes. Find another dealer. I know CA prices are crazy, but that's easily $10k too crazy!

Terrible price. That ranks up there with the worst dealer rip offs I’ve seen since the shit hit the fan. You can get the same truck for $10-15K less with those options. And word to the wise, don’t pay 5xs more for that Toyota lift. There are so many better options out there and for less $$. You said you don’t even want a lot of the stuff that truck has like the leather and JBL system. Regular (non premium) 4x4 OR LBs go for around $40K if you do your homework. Then put $2-3000 into a lift and tires and you saved the value of another nice used car.

Not Norm Reeves, but probably his twin sister, Clare (hint). Not pursuing this one. I'm also talking with another dealer (msrp) about a 6sp manual that should be coming in next month. Would have liked the long bed, but not a deal breaker and would like a manual more. I'm still keeping the eyes peeled.

And before he says he wants to maintain the warranty: some dealerships will install aftermarket lifts and will warranty the install. Way cheaper, yet better options out there.

I wanted a LB because I figured my hobbies would require it. I’ve found work arounds and don’t think the ~12” would’ve made much of a difference (plus, they look weird).

I wanted a DCLB at first too, but the pros just didn’t outweigh the cons for me… the main con being the LB wouldn’t fit in my garage, and in the Socal summer heat, I hate getting into a truck oven.

I'm thinking along the same lines. Some woodworking, welding projects, home depot runs, taking the road bikes out etc..and some light 4wd is all I'm doing, so the short bed should be fine.
