Noticed my brakes feel a little spongey today and was wondering if doing a disc swap on the back is even worth it? If it is, what all is needed + how hard would doing it be, thanks!

I don't believe there is a straight forward bolt on swap, but could be wrong, usually this is the case on a vehicle like the Tacoma that was only offered drums (no higher trim model doner to be had). I would have your brakes checked, as the Tacoma brakes are very good from the factory, unless you are towing a really large trailer and/or are huge tires the stock brakes should be plenty. I am on heavy ass 10 ply E, one size up, and tow a small trailer without brakes, and never had an issue with stock brakes.

Get a correct diagnosis why first, get it repaired, and drive as normal.
After the correct repair, if you still want a firmer pedal, install braided stainless steel flex brake hoses for all four wheels.

If you have to ask basic ass questions like this you're not smart enough to do this yourself.

Just take it to jiffy lube and pay them $50 to flush the brake lines.
