Gritto Finally Sees The Northern Lights


I was shooting trap at the Club after dark under the lights.
We closed down and turned off the lights a little after 9 pm, and...

Aurora Borealis

And I mean not just a little.
The northern sky from horizon up to about 30 degrees was a wall of various shades of purple, flickering like flames.
It lasted for more than an hour, and we all sat there drinking beer, amazed.
I never saw the Northern Lights before... or since.
