I don't think it gets cold enough to freeze gasoline, but you should keep the tank fairly full in cold weather. Any moisture on the bottom on the tank will freeze.

Just an update. My Tacoma did amazing on my way into work at 4am yesterday. I plow snow for work and have to get to the shop to get my plow truck, when I went out, the roads had not hardly been touched. Even with no weight in the back, other than the all the ice on the truck, my Taco held it's own. I just hit the traction button once to make the LSD work a little better and I made it just fine. This winter has been a proving ground for my truck and I am pretty impressed.

Snow plowing, the other hand, was terrible. I spend about 30 trying to plow ice that had firmly established itself and the plow just kept tripping and we were getting no where fast, so we spent the morning salting the crap out of everything. Then the boss went out with the Bobcat and tried to plow, while a co-worker and I spent 8 hours chipping away at the ice on all the sidewalks at the places we usually plow. It was very slow going, only being able to chip away a couple inches at a time on a whole sidewalk....my hands are shot. Supposed to get down to 7 again and only hit 13 degrees tomorrow. Friday is supposed to be above freezing so hopefully we can go back out and clean up some more. I like the cold, but I am honestly ready for spring.

This is an old pic I ran across. Six feet drifts. Notice the bulldozer in the background don't like the cold much.

I just dug the Taco out. It had 3 ft. of heavy snow over and around it from the last week or so. Some was from drifting but the snow was wet and heavy.
