Rausch likes to break everyone's truck. It pops egos like a porcupine in a room full of birthday balloons. The more you think can dominate the trails, the greater the odds that it will surprise you. I always get at least one scratch or dent or hubcap ripped off. Best outcome is a stalemate. After my first trip, I started calling rustoleum black paint 'rock lube'. If you focus too much on the rocks, you'll kiss a tree. Just because the guy in front didn't get stuck in the mud is no guarantee you won't. Best defense is good teamwork. You and @cynicalrider could have some epic travels.
