What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Ugh, I just realized my order failed to process. So I reordered it today. Guess it'll be a project for next weekend

 

Got my Napa awning mounted today. It’s huuuuuge!

 

i got the small arb one...its a lil to small and really dont cover, im eventually gonna get a 180

 

Very Easy! 2 hour job with hand tools and following along with a youtube video

 

I installed L track for more tie down points. Have the same on the left side also and one across the front of the bed. Very handy to have these. You can also buy covers to go over them when not in use.

 

Single din in, gonna order a new bezel thing with the ham

 

You going to install the HAM under it?

Been highly considering this as my CB seems kinda iffy but I still need a HAM license unless I want to pirate radio, which NGL I kinda want to so I can HAM GRMS UHF VHF and CB with a singular unit.

 

Send it dude, you can buy and install what ever you feel like. License it’s only to Get your call sign and transmit, you can still monitor, receive and transmit in case of emergency.

 

Yep, that’s how I have it in my 1st Gen. There’s a bracket under the dash by my right knee already but I don’t like it there

 

What color LEDs is everyone ordering for the window switches? Debating green given that’s what the color switches are in my 2015 but I’m not sure which green the LEDs they use are and fear they may not look how I would like.

 

Cleaned the interior…not bad for 15 years old!

 

OCD to be sure but I have white for illumination and color coded by usage for the “on” led. I hate the sickly green color but haven’t yet pulled the steering wheel to fix those. I did swap out the armrest and dash switch greenies.

 

This switch swap was so easy. Took me about 5 minutes from opening the door to being done. It would have been like 15 seconds if I did not have to find a screwdriver to swap the trim over.

I think auto down on all 4 windows.

 

I jumped on the auto up/down window switches myself! You can do the entire job without removing the door panel in less than 5 minutes but I also replaced the door actuator motor that stopped working 2 years ago so I just did everything at once.

 

Damn not available for access cab. Also, I wonder what's different about the 12-15 ones compared to the 05-11 ones
