    The factory one is very light. It's more like a gravel guard.

    10+ vendors make aftermarket off-road skids. Take a look through here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/armor.182/ They are heavy and a full set will sag your suspension, leading to that slippery slope of more and more upgrades...
