New guy here

Hello, my name is Daniel, I've been reading a lot on the forums but haven't posted much of anything.

I owned a 2016 SR and it quickly became my favorite truck I've ever owned. I recently traded it in for a 2022 offroad double cab so when we go on family trips we don't need to take both vehicles(The SR was an access cab and my wife's vehicle is too small for all of our luggage.) I already have plans for mods and already have a few in transit, impatiently awaiting them like Christmas morning.

I also bought a phone mount from The Taco Garage. Main reason here was because of how low profile it was. It's also half the price of some others. I plan on customizing it to allow some USB plug ins because they were out of stock of theirs. And lastly for now I plan on doing a chrome delete on the interior. But since it's a manual transmission a lot of third party vendors don't carry anything for MT. I plan on taking all the chrome pieces off, sanding them with 200 grit and spray painting them. As well as a few other trim pieces that I would like the same color.

Anyways those are my plans for now, tell me what yall think and what your first mods for your truck were and why?

Hi Daniel, glad to have you. For the chrome delete, they make a nice adhesive overlay for the steering wheel logo, I'll try and find a link. I got a flat black one, but they have other colors too.

I plan on doing all the trim pieces custom this weekend. I've looked up multiple videos on how to take apart the inside to get at all the trim I wanna paint. If I remember I'll take pictures of before, during and after.
