Hello I’m a new member to Tacomaworld and would love some feedback. I’m curious on hearing from people on what I should do. I got a 2022 Tacoma Trd off-road with the trd lift kit. I don’t do any crazy off-roading other then some two tracking and some mild overlanding trips. Currently I’m running the stock wheels and tires and I don’t hate the way the wheels look but I definitely want to get new tires. So I was thinking about getting some method wheels and getting more aggressive all terrains to go with. But as you all know wheels and tires are costly. The other route I could go is keeping the wheels and just buy some better tires to put on the factory wheels and then with the left over money I would put it into some lights and possibly a soft topper or something like that. Would love some opinions from some more veteran overlanders on what route would benefit me more.

You could totally do wheels and tires depending on what you have now. You can buy a new set up and sell yours. I did that and it only ended up costing me $600 more for the complete new tire and rim set up I wanted installed after selling the ones that came with the truck.

If you have the common rims and tires you may not get anything for them though and it will not work
