I have a 2018 non JBL with 7" screen. I want to upgrade factory speakers and keep my OEM head unit. I have an amp mounted under driver seat just for a litte oomf in anticipation of adding a sub in the future. I have modified the harnesses from Crutchfield to make them plug and play with components and tweeters being powered separately. BUT now my drivers side speakers (component and tweeter) have very minimal sound but the passenger side speakers sound AMAZING. What have I done wrong? I've checked and haven't found anything wired wrong, and all my connections seem to be tight. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like there might be an issue with your harness. Is there any chance that the drivers side front is connected an output from the factory HU that was intended for one of the rear speakers? The factory head unit puts out significantly less power to the rear speakers.
