Looking for some guidance on what others have experienced with their Southern Style Offroad Stage 2 bumper install. My SSO Slimline had the bolt holes already so I did not have to modify it as the video shows.

I cannot get the gap to less than a 1/4" between the slimline the stage 2 winglet. The top front bolt is all the way in so mating flange is up against the slimline without any shims. I tried shimming the rear upper and lower bolt but it swings the back of the winglet out and it sticks too far out.

    Any other idea or options?

    Bolts tight w/o shims:

    Gap is 5/16"

I have the same issue as you except the driver side. Only way to fix it is cut off the mounting plate, trim off the extra steel and re-weld. I ended up shipping it back to SSO and they shipped me a replacement. Hopefully the replacement wing will fixed the gap.

I did the same and SSO also sent me a replacement set. The drivers side fit fine so I just replaced the passenger side and its all good. I still need to mess with a shim or 2 to get a better alignment but thats on me.

Many thanks to SoutherStyleOffRoad for the excellent customer service!

How did you guys install the nut on the bottom bolt. I have no way to access the rear of the bolt.
