    Hello all you first gen guys
    I recently purchased 2004 Tacoma prerunner. There is a switch missing, just to the right of the interior light round dimmer switch. Can someone educate me what switch goes here and I’ll buy one to fill the hole. Thanks much.

    I believe you're talking about the Rear locker switch spot, pictures would help, if you don't have a rear locker then it's just a blank cover plate.

    BS. I have a 2000 and had mine removed. Still have the button. (It's just a pic.)

    @Tmar04

    Not all vehicles have the option, kind of like cruise control or air conditioning.

    Toyota is known for using the same "square" insert for damn near a shit ton of vehicles (both cars and trucks).

    Might have been a blank from factory, then someone added and removed something.

    The 1st Gen Tacoma also had a few down by the 12V outlet.

    My old 3rd Gen 4Runner here and there where the sensor was located in the event of a break in, or for the heated seats.

    My Land Cruiser has multiple as well for the available 110V outlet, center locker, heated seats and more.

    For vehicles without said options, these are used from the factory.
