I live in a somewhat high crime area. People have been mugged and shot when heading out to their vehicles early in the morning.

I want to install a camera that can be connected to the electrical system on the truck. I want to be able to connect to this camera via wifi (I am within wifi distance of the truck). I want the camera to be on standby mode (to conserve battery) until I give a command from my phone or computer. At which point, I want to view whatever the camera is viewing.

This camera will be less to protect the truck, and more to make sure the "coast is clear" before I head to the truck on dark mornings.

Good night viewing would be amazing to have. Also the ability to tilt and pan would be too much to ask, but I wouldn't mind it.
