What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It stuck out like crazy with the 10 wires they t tapped and they drilled a button into the bottom of the lower dash. Apparently this dealer has it installed on ALL of their new vehicles.

 

I don't like the brown. Too different from the sand color and doesn't match anything else. I think camo might work if you introduce lighter browns.

 

I’ve heard of WE FINANCE used car dealers doing that. Supposedly they tell the buyer they (dealer) have the ability to disable the vehicles.

I've got to figure out why the DRLs are staying on constantly. I have the fuse tap unplugged while I figure it out. I'll pm ya a pic once that gets sorted.

 

What model # bumper did u purchAse? Did u have to do any trimming

 

It's the CBI covert bumper. Yes, there is a little trimming involved but it's not that bad.

 

Decided I'm going to go 100% on the delete. Fridge soon?

 

i removed it last week and put my black one back on. If i can find black multicam auto wrap that can be purchased in a small roll, i’m gonna wrap it in that

Great job! What did you use to cap the back of the low beams?

 

Reverse the pins on the tap, into the drl spot?

I tried to go over all the possible mounting configurations along with creating my own during the install. Once the solenoids were on with the air lines run that space was just too small. From the picture it looks like your compressor is moved over to the inside of the engine bay more than mine.

Installed seat jackers on both front seats yesterday. WOW! What a difference.

I'm 6'3" and saw a noticeable improvement in the seats just sitting in them without feeling any loss of headroom. Time will tell, but this may be my favorite mod. Before the seat jackers, I would get uncomfortable through my back and hips after about an hour of driving.

Took me about 1 hour after I read the instructions and saw what I was doing. Yes, I'm slow. I overthink everything. And I'm not the most mechanically inclined person either.

 

So coming from a 2nd gen which had a slot to put my phone, added this so I don’t have to put my phone in that square cup holder which ends up hitting the shifter when I put the truck into Drive.
