I have a 05 Tacoma with the 2.0 4 inch DB Rough Country lift. Obligatory regrets and being young and dumb when I made this decision.

I have been racking my brain for options to improve ride quality. I feel like I cant take my truck farther than around town (within 1 hour) due to how shakey the steering wheel gets above 50 mph. It isn't a "death" wobble, it actually feels relatively smooth but the steering wheel shakes ridiculously and has ever since I installed the lift. Also, riding in grass, gravel, dirt makes the steering feel very vague and loose in addition to the shaky steering wheel.

I am on blocks in the front with stock shocks and stock components otherwise with RC shocks in the back.

It is hard to research what parts to get as some aren't compatible with certain DB lifts.

    My questions are the following:
    1. What could be the cause of my steering/rough ride and how could I address? New bearings/bushings/coilovers without spacer? Or is it the rack and pinion?

    2. Would it be worth installing a diff drop kit other than the RC one?

    3. Shocks to get that would accommodate a 4 inch lift? (so hard to find information on this)

Bottom line is I love my truck but made a bad decision installing that cheap dumb lift. I want to feel confident in my truck and feel comfortable taking it on trips because I definitely dont right now.

    Thank you
