minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
Only Taco's on the trail, for sure. Happened very rare, the land I'm usually wheeling has nobody and nothing for 100 miles (not kilometers) around.
City? Hell, no. Have no interest to wave to (for example) Pipino housewife, who's driving Taco, or random dumbfuck.

I actually get a decent amount of waves or whatever from older Tacoma owners. Not so much 3rd gens.

It hurts my feelings if we don't immediately pull over on sight and sniff each other's asses. Maybe exchange business cards if you want to keep it formal.

I think about it all week if you decline to do so.

if i am driving with my window down, i wave at motorcycles. you got to drop your arm down, slight bend at the elbow, hand open, look straight ahead, tighten up and flex a bit, and kinda lean into it. never had one wave back even though i wear a helmet. it's super cool though.

This is the reason I don't wave nor "greet". most people just it as a truck...
I used to own a WRX, other owners wave at me all time, I wave back, not in a Tacoma.

I will occasionally wave at a fellow first gen owner, usually if its one with the same grille style as mine I will. Otherwise I only wave to someone who waves to me first.

That's acceptable behavior in the canine/feline world (not sure which other animal kingdoms do this).

I know, I'm Captain Obvious. lol

I’ll typically give a head nod to a tastefully modified Tacoma.
