    Maybe a vinyl wrap?

Or...just sand the whole thing down until it's nice and smooth. Then paint it with some matte color.

He needs some of these to stick on the dashboard:

I have similar scratches from my fishing poles and driving on the beach. From what I found you can:
    1. replace the whole dash
    2. there are guys out there that can blend and fix it. I contacted a guy and he said he'd do it for $300
    3. cover it
    4. fix it yourself. I would not recommend this unless it bothers you so much you were going to replace the dash anyway. You could make it worse
    5. live with it

    I chose 5.
I plan on painting my stereo and gauge bezels along with replacing my radio. if I can find a dash in good condition I may replace it at that time. and while Im there clean my condenser if its dirty.

If you find a better solution let me know.

Given there are two separate pieces of plastic there, I’d suggest finding a dash from a wrecked Taco and swapping out the black insert.

It’ll be a lot of work but it may be worth it to you. The black insert you scratched had to be installed into the dash in the first place. If it can be installed, it can be removed & replaced IMO. Hopefully you don’t need to fix any plastic welds tho

I'm not sure which cab type your truck has, but if it helps, the rear doors on my double-cab have a piece of this material at the rear of the door. Looks and feels like the same plastic on all the doors. Might be a place you could experiment with different repair methods since it can't be seen when the doors are closed. I have small scratch on the piece just below the window on this door. It happened when I was loading a dog kennel into the back with the seats folded. It's not as durable as it appears.
