Hey guys Terry the taco has a nasty coolant leak from what I think is the waterpump I can't seem to pinpoint it . So I have been looking at tb wp kits. What's everyone's thoughts on the aisin kits on rock auto
Doesn't come with anty seals though
    And its a Mitsubishi belt

Is there anything else that would leak over on the right side of the engine? My belt is dry

Headgasket but unlikely. Very common to see WP leak in that area.

The Aisin kit is a good choice.

The water pump also comes with a new thermostat gasket, which could also be leaking.

There's a member here on TW that was selling an Aisin Water pump complete kits. I think his username is Aircabinman or something along those lines. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Ive used that Aisin kit and i never had any issues with them. My truck had developed a leak like yours and i was able to confirm the leak was coming from the water pump until i removed it.

I would say if you havent changed the water pump or timing belt before just do it. Last tacoma i bought had a napa timing belt sticker stating the timing belt had been changed less than a year from when i purchased it and i still swapped it out.
