2nd Gen 2007 Trd Double Cab. Have not been in any accidents and have not messed with any wires or anything else recently.

Red airbag light is on steady (the one in the gauge cluster near the tachometer).

Have taken all connectors apart under both driver & passenger seats and have applied dielectric grease & reconnected...did not resolve.

Used the jumper wire in OBD II port to pull airbag code.

I was under the impression this would be iust a 2 digit code or something but mine the code is 10 numbers long. Can this be right? I checked it 3 times and each time it gave me the same code of: 3537514332

I have googled that code to no avail. Can anyone help determine what that code means?

    Thanks

Should also be noted that I had the spiral cable replaced under warranty back in 2009 or so.

And the horn works, as well as the cruise control. No issues there.

It's not a good idea to use any kind of grease or anything else in an airbag system connector as airbag systems are extremely sensitive to any change in resistance on a circuit and will set codes.

The codes are 2 digit when you flash them out with the light, you have to carefully watch the pauses between flashes to correctly determine the numbers. Correct code read procedure and code list attached below.

You sure you're reading the code right?

I can say that is NOT a code. Are you sure you have the correct pins jumped?

Thanks to @Muddinfun for the following:

First, connect terminal 4 and 13 of the OBD-II socket (under the dash in front of your left knee) with a jumper wire. (Those are the 4th from the left on the top and the fifth from the left on the bottom.)

Turn the ignition to on. You'll notice lots of flashing lights, but just pay attention to the ABS light. Normally, it should be rapidly and steadily flashing, twice per second. If it has stored a trouble code, it will instead be flashing a pattern that will coding a two-digit number. There may be more than one code being flashed out. It will just repeat the code over and over,so you have plenty of time to figure it out and write it (them) down.

NOW you can clear the codes. Just tap the brakes rapidly 8 or more times, about two taps per second. You don't have to jam on the brakes, just tap them enough to blink the brake lights. If you're successful, the ABS light should return to its normal fast blinking. Now remove the jumper wire, and finally turn off the key.

Now when you turn on the key, the ABSlight should just do its normal light for three seconds and go off. If it comes backon, you still have a problem

I just went out & repeated the process twice, each time confirming the correct pins are jumped in OBDII.

Same long 10 digit code given both times. I took a video which i will upload if I can figure out how in a sec.

I attempted the brake taps 8+ times and that did not appear to do anything at all.

Cant get a video to load says file is too large. Downloaded a file reducer & was successful at reducing size. Then it says file not the right type. Downloaded file converter to attempt to convert file to right type, and was successful but file converts too large again, and file reducer ap is not able to open the new file to reduce it again ugh

At any rate the blinking light definitely gives the code that i provided above...

    Hopefully someone can help.

Im glad to email this video to anyone as well if you need to see it.

You can't directly post videos here, you have to put them on a video sharing site like youtube and post the link here.
Honestly the best way to get the codes is with a scan tool that can read codes from the SRS system.

Is there a particular scan tool you would recommend that can read the toyota srs codes? Some of the ones i see on Amazon appear to not have the ability to read srs. Thx

He's trying to check SRS (Airbag) codes not ABS codes.

There's such a variety of scan tools out there now, some good some not so much. All I can tell you is the ones I have experience with although 2 of them are beyond the budget of a typical DIY.
If you have a decent smartphone the ThinkDiag bluetooth dongle basically turns your smartphone into a full featured scan tool, it's between $95 and $125 for the dongle and ~$75/year for full functionality. So far it seems to work pretty good on my Tacoma and most other vehicles except for some Chrysler stuff.

The other 2 I have are the SnapOn Verus Edge and Autel MS906BT they also perform very well on most vehicles but are both well north of $1000.

Jimmy- if going by the Hint posted in the photo above stating "if 2 or more malfunctions are found- the indicator begins with the smaller numbered code"

Would that mean mine is potentially multiple codes starting with a 35 code to begin with, and then a 37, and then a 51, and so on?

Is there a 35 code or a 37 code or a 51 code for Toyota?

I had to replace a airbag sensor in the front grill one time, it was super easy and not expensive to replace and it cleared the code on the dash after a battery reset. The dealership told me which sensor went bad so I opted to replace it myself. Hope that helps!

    Thanks Inferno

Thanks DM93- so in looking at the code list that you posted, IF those are all 2 digit codes they would be

    35
    37
    51
    43
    32

And the one thing that is consistent in all of those codes is the Center Airbag Sensor malfunction.

I am assuming that may be the issue?
